JAC 12th Result 2025 Arts Declared: 95.62% Pass

Ranchi, June 5, 2025 – The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the JAC 12th Result 2025 Arts today. The results were declared at 2:00 PM during a press conference at the Gyandeep Campus, Bargawan, Namkum, Ranchi. Students can now check their scorecards online from 2:15 PM. The overall pass percentage is an impressive 95.62%. Over 2.17 lakh students passed the exams. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 96.36% compared to 94.54% for boys.

How to Check JAC 12th Result 2025 Arts

Students can access their results on official websites. These include jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in. Follow these steps to download your scorecard:

  1. Visit jacresults.com or jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “JAC 12th Result 2025” link.
  3. Select the Arts stream.
  4. Enter your roll number and roll code.
  5. Click “Submit” to view your result.
  6. Download and print the marksheet for future use.

Students can also use DigiLocker to get their digital marksheet. Log in to digilocker.gov.in or the DigiLocker app. Authenticate using your Aadhaar number and OTP. Navigate to the “Education” section, select JAC, and enter your roll number, roll code, and date of birth. Click “Get Document” to download the marksheet.

If the websites are slow due to heavy traffic, students can check results via SMS. Type “RESULT JAC12 ” and send it to 56263. The result will be sent to your phone.

Exam and Result Details

The JAC 12th Arts exams took place from February 11 to March 4, 2025. A total of 2,28,959 students registered for the exams. Out of these, 2,27,222 appeared, and 2,17,273 passed. The exams were held in the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. The evaluation of answer sheets began on April 12, 2025, and was completed by the end of April.

Khunti district topped the state with a pass percentage of 99.53%. Simdega and Hazaribagh also performed well. The JAC shared district-wise performance details during the press conference. The board also released a toppers’ list, with boys taking the lead this year. Tiwari Ji emerged as the state topper in the Arts stream.

Pass Percentage

The overall pass percentage of 95.62% shows strong academic performance. Girls achieved a higher pass rate at 96.36%, while boys recorded 94.54%. In 2024, the pass percentage was 93.16%, indicating an improvement this year. Last year, Zeenat Parveen topped the Arts stream with 472 marks. This year’s toppers’ details, including names and marks, were shared at the press meet.

What’s Next for Students?

Students who passed can collect their original marksheets from their schools in a few weeks. Those who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation. The re-evaluation process will begin soon after the results. Students need to pay a fee of INR 200 per subject and apply online at jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Re-evaluation results are expected in July 2025.

Students who failed in one or two subjects can appear for supplementary exams. These exams are likely to be held in June 2025. The supplementary exam results will be announced in August 2025. Improvement exams are also available for students who want to improve their scores. The board will share details on the official website soon.
